Who we are

This website is operated by Russell Bennett Ltd, trading as Max OS. Company number 07006979, registered at Wellington House, 273 to 275 High Street, London Colney, Hertfordshire, AL2 1HA.

This page covers visitors to max-os.co.uk. How we handle information belonging to clients is a separate matter, covered in our Data Protection and Guardrails Statement.

What we collect

If you email us or book a call, we collect what you tell us: your name, your contact details, and what you have written about your business.

We collect basic technical information automatically, such as pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we hold it

To respond to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to have a conversation about working together. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, specifically responding to someone who has contacted us about our services.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client conversations are deleted after twelve months. Where a working relationship begins, the information is retained for the duration of that relationship and for six years afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of third parties to run this website and our email. They act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes. A current list is available on request.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email support@max-os.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this page we will change the date below. This version is August 2026.
